234/366: Paper Fans

So, this is the second time Pinterest has inspired me to get crafty, and I’m very happy with how this turned out.   What is it, you say?  Well, it’s a photography backdrop that will double as a classroom decoration.  Easy to put together and cheap (under $30!).

How I did it:

1.  I purchased two sets of Amscan Fiesta paper fans from Amazon, arranged them, and hot-glued them to one another, leaving the strings attached to the three big fans at the top of the arrangement.

2.  Then, I cut apart a piece of poster board and hot-glued it to the back of the decoration to provide reinforcement.

That’s it.  (Love a project with only two steps!)  This is the finished product:
